Great solid music October 4, 2008 What great music! The best songs of Superchick are on this album. It's time to start living life to its fullness with what God has provided for us. Rock what you got!
Great sound September 16, 2008 I really enjoyed the sound of this album; but the lyrics to some of the songs were lacking. There were too many slow songs for my taste as well.
Superchic[k] rocked what they had! September 13, 2008 This is a great opening and the title track "Rock What You Got" is a very catchy and uplifting song. The style on this album is little different from other ones, but not too drastic.
This is a wonderful, rock and fun filled album, perfect for any Superchic[k] fan!
Fun, Positive, Good Sound July 7, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is another project that demonstrates the versatility and talent of Superchick. It contains many different types of songs, but all of them are well done.
The lyrics are very positive. Some of them contain a subtle Christian message, although most are not very overt. Most of the songs are quite serious. It doesn't contain the extremely fun type song such as 'Bowling Ball' or anything as incredibly unique as 'We Live'. Nevertheless, it is a quality project.
I have been fond of this band for several years since I first heard 'We Live'. I introduced the group to my teenage daughter and she is a major fan. She rates this album as a five star. I see it as a little less stellar. It is not on a par with 'Beauty From Pain' or 'Last One Picked'. It is still well worth buying.
Although their target audience is teenage girls, they have a much wider appeal. Parents can be feel very safe purchasing any Superchick music for their teens. The 'old folks' might just like it as well.

Our family went to see Superchick in Salt Lake City, Utah in May and were anxiously awaiting the new album. We were not disappointed. This album (no pun intended) ROCKS!!! The guitar, bass and drum work is absoulutely mind-blowing. The vocals are outstanding. We hope to see Superchick back in SLC soon!
