Product Description In April 2007, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds embarked on a 3-city theatre tour, culminating with a performance in the intimate confines of Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Due to the smaller sized venues and extremely limited number of dates, tickets were practically impossible to get, making this new 2 disc Blu-ray set all the more desirable to the huge Dave Matthews Band fanbase. LIVE AT RADIO CITY marks the first time in almost ten years that Dave and Tim have released an album. Their last album was the wildly successful, multi-platinum LIVE AT LUTHER COLLEGE. This is the first-ever Blu-ray Disc released by the duo. LIVE AT RADIO CITY features over 2 1/2 hours of music, capturing all 26 songs of Dave and Tim's performance. The performance includes numerous songs that have never been recorded by the two, including Crush, Grace Is Gone, Don t Drink The Water, Gravedigger and many more.
Video/Audio 9-camera, HiDef shoot Full 1080P24 HD resolution 16:9 Wide screen format PCM Stereo Sound (48kHz/24bit) Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround Sound (96kHz/24bit) Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound (640 kbps)
Amazon.com Socialites in the Hamptons paid up to $15,000 for the privilege of seeing this duo in action just a few weeks before the release of Live at Radio City Music Hall. Not that it was any easier to get tickets to the April 22, 2007, concert in New York that produced this recording, available on CD or DVD with high-definition 5.1 surround sound and an additional 46-minute film of backstage footage. The acoustic set features the veteran musicians performing for nearly two-and-a-half hours--and you get the feeling they could have easily kept going. Reynolds gets his solo turn on "Betrayal" and "You Are My Sanity," but it's a chatty Matthews who seems to be relishing the occasion more, stripping down some of his band's most popular songs ("Lie in Our Graves," "Two Step") while giving the fans a sneak peek at a couple of its new ones ("Eh Hee," "Cornbread"). The guy's even thrown in a few covers for kicks, including Neil Young's "Down by the River" and Daniel Lanois' "The Maker." In terms of audio quality and packaging, it marks a vast improvement over the pair's first release, 1999's Live at Luther College. And the best part is that it doesn't cost more than a yacht. --Aidin Vaziri

Amazing on so many levels January 6, 2009 Just amazing, the quality of video, sound, camera angles and such is by far the BEST concert reproduction ever. I actually think the sound is way better than if at the concert itself. Weather a fan of DMB or not, this is a must for the people that appreciate accoustic guitar, Tim and Dave make a great pair. I do not love DMB, too much noise, over produced. But this, simple, elegant and powerful. I purchased several, some sent as gifts. thanks Dave and Tim, this was great
I Highly Recommend this one to anyone! January 3, 2009 Live at Radio City is one of the most impressive live discs I have ever seen. Matthews and Reynolds are 100% in sync with each other and create an absolutely perfect performance. Going away from the "traditional" band feel, Matthews and Reynolds just sit down and jam together, singing and playing the guitar. Matthews' voice is one of the most unique in the industry and resonates through Radio City beautifully. On the other hand, Reynolds is one of the most amazing guitarists I have ever heard. He is genuinely in love with playing the guitar and it most certainly shows. This is by far one of the best transfers I have seen to date. The skin tones are flawless and the detail is terrific. It almost feels as though we are sitting in Radio City. The colors are vibrant, the contrast is spot on, and the blacks are rich...deep...and just right. The sound is sent through each speaker with such incredible detail that I honestly felt as if I was there. Matthews' voice rings through the speakers brilliantly with gorgeous clarity and perfect pitch. The guitar from Reynolds resonates so wonderfully that I had to keep listening. This track is most definitely worth a listen, and can easily compete with any of the top releases today.I absolutely loved every minute of it and can't wait to watch it again. The audio and video are absolutely top notch and both do phenomenal jobs making us feel as if we were actually there. The features are lacking, but that shouldn't stop anyone from picking up this disc and enjoying an incredible concert.
DMB & Tim Reynolds give more than expected December 29, 2008 I am a huge fan of Dave Matthews and this DVD definitely did not disappoiont me. Teamed with Tim Reynold made the concert way above all it could be. Loved it!
Amazing December 21, 2008 If you love Dave Matthews and own a Blue-Ray player, you should not pass this one up.
Loved it December 13, 2008 If you are a DM fan, you will love this DVD with Tim Reynolds. My only beef is I wish I had been there live. Fantastic. Wonderful, terrific. What more can you say?
