Description Six new episodes from our three favorite suburban neighborhood friends (Ed, Edd and Eddy) who are linked by one common goal in life--coming up with schemes to make money so they can buy delicious jaw breakers. Armed with pimples, big feat and oily hair, "The Eds" plunge headlong into outlandish summertime adventure.DVD Features: Featurette:Two Featurettes: 1) Plank's Perspective; 2) My Best Freind Plank Other:Club Ed: The Rules and Regulations
Amazon.com The premier DVD of one of Cartoon Network?s hottest commodities is a compilation of six Ed, Edd n Eddy episodes from its debut 1999 season, brandishing its unique style of adolescent schtick from creator Danny Antonucci ("Lupo the Butcher," "The Brothers Grunt"). School?s out and this trio of Eds are beating the heat in the best way they know how: concocting their next scam while avoiding life?s greatest mystery--girls. Whether babysitting Ed?s demanding sister in "Sir Ed-a-lot," or contending for the best swimming hole in "Hot-Buttered Ed," these musketeers of puberty always get the last word. The best of the bunch is "Avast Ye Eds," where the boys launch their newest entrepreneurial endeavor, "Eddy?s Creek Cruise Line" only to come under attack by a racy raft of pirates, the Kanker Sisters ("Alas, the sea is a cruel mistress"). Antonucci?s gag-driven cartoons are well-crafted animations replete with witty dialogue, vibrant colors, and creative storylines, hinting at influences as far-reaching as Buster Keaton, Hal Roach, Mack Sennett, Vaudeville, and "The Three Stooges." Cartoon Funny, DVD a let down September 22, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The show is great, but the dvd gives you 6 "episodes," but it's really 15 minute shows, so it amounts to 3 episodes. And they aren't even the first 3 that were made, it's random episodes from the first season. Since the complete first season has been releasted, this dvd isn't worth it.
Great fun August 17, 2006 My son loves this show! The DVD has a nice blend of episodes, and a bonus "Grim" cartoon. The plank music video is disappointing, and with each episode, even when you select the "play all" option, they play the theme song before each episode, which is a little annoying. Al in all, great compilation, but I hope cartoon network starts releasing the actual seasons of their series to DVD.
BUTTERED TOAST!!! July 12, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this show. It's the world viewed from the perspective of 3 normal 12-year-olds. Who are they, you ask? Why, they are none other than Ed Edd n Eddy! I've liked this show for as long as I can remember. The animation, although not stylish, is perfect for the feel of the show: summer. The voices are great. I can think of no one to play Ed better than Matt Hill. In conclusion, you should buy this DVD to see 6 great ED-ventures, plus you should also buy all the seasons (except the last one) when they are released. GRAVY!
My 8 year old son loves this cartoon! March 20, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My eight year son truly enjoys Ed, Edd "n" Eddy. His first thing on this Christmas list last year was this dvd. He has watched it over and over again and truly gets a kick out of watching this nutty trio of boys! I will probably buy season 2 because he does enjoy this cartoon!
Must buy if you like comady March 20, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ed Edd N eddy is the show about 3 boys that live in a court and go on funny adventures and get into mischif. Ed is really werid and funny he is all about alinas and monsters and loves to read comic books. Edd is a smart kids that loves keeping everything neat. Eddy is a kid who loves makeing scams to get pepoles money and buying jawbreakers but he never secedes. The show is funny beacuse you never know whats going to happen. There are editinol charecters that don't have big rolls in the show. Also for some strange reason adults are never shown in the show but atleast they don't make fun of them like they do in kids next door. I love the show and is one of cartoon networks better hits.
