Editorial Reviews:

Description
Multi-platinum recording artists release their first-ever live DVD. Recorded in April 2005, the shows were filmed in the band's hometown of Atlanta during two special sold-out performances featuring the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra. The 20-song collection spans ninety minutes and encompasses hits from Collective Soul's seven studio albums, including their latest release, "Youth". DVD special features include behind the scenes footage and documentary, and the CD is enhanced with video, never before released music, and more. Recording in an orchestral setting enabled the group to reinterpret their hits. Songs such as "Shine", "December", "The World I Know", and "Precious Declaration" have all been given a new twist.

5 out of 5 stars Collective Soul at their best   October 30, 2008
I was more than pleased with the quality of this performance. They sounded much better here than when I saw them live a year ago. The singer has a good combination of sounding like he does on the recordings and but also the realism of a live performance.

5 out of 5 stars Outstanding   October 23, 2008
The DVD, and the music on it is just fantastic. If you only buy one Collective Soul item, be it DVD or CD, let it be this one. If you are just a casual fan, it will be all you need.

5 out of 5 stars Collective Soul Home DVD   July 14, 2008
Great band, both recorded and live. Not many rock bands could adjust their material to blend with the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, but Ed Roland is a special talent and it works. Would recommend this DVD to anyone who likes great music with those performing it obviously enjoying what they do. Its a lot of fun, and very well recorded.

5 out of 5 stars Collective Soul: Home   April 20, 2008
I have purchased a lot of concert videos but this one is one of the best I've seen or heard. The video is stunning and the sound is awesome.I knew Collective Soul was a cool band but now they are on my list of favorites. The work they did to incorporate the Atlanta Youth Symphony was fantastic!!I would love to see them live very soon and I'm currently searching their tour dates.Purchase the DVD and invite a room full of friends over and CRANK IT UP.

5 out of 5 stars Rock on!!!!!   March 28, 2008
Great DVD....my wife can't get it out of the DVD player....and it never seems to get old. Their music just seems timeless and this is a great performance captured of a rockin' band - along with the Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra - sweet!!!!!
