Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Joan Osborne reunites with the same team that worked on her 1995 top 5 hit, 'One Of Us', for Little Wild One. Long considered one of the greatest voices of her generation, Osborne has a passionate and wide fan base eagerly awaiting the true follow up to her three-time-platinum album, Relish.

5 out of 5 stars A for effort!   November 26, 2008
Have followed Joan Osborne since her salad--or should I say "Relish"--days, and have always loved the breadth and depth of her sound and the range of her musical choices. With this release she is coming into her own and has clearly mastered the art of the song and the science of songwriting. Her voice is rare--at once sweet, pure, and edgy--At a recent live show (a must do!)...a friend characterized it as the sound of "sugar cookie dough." Wow! Perfect.

5 out of 5 stars Joan is back in the groove with Lil Wild One   November 2, 2008

I don't have much to add to the already glowing reviews for this joint by Joan and the team that brought you Relish way too long ago. Saw her and the band in the video recently and they did a great job which only reinforced my enjoyment of these songs. The writing, playing and performances are outstanding. The music comes from lots of places and styles. You will have favorites and may skip a track or two[maybe not], but it is all honest and heartfelt, no filler. That is saying alot for an 11 track cd.
Enjoy this offereing from one of todays most interesting talents.
I'm very happy I bought it.

Was hoping for more. Nothing special on this CD. If you have her other CD's you can skip this one.

This is a very good CD; not the best that she has done, but certainly worth purchasing. Vocally, she seems must a much stronger and emotional singer.

5 out of 5 stars One of my fav CD's   October 24, 2008

I like every song on this CD; lately I have been interested in female singers. I would highly recommend it as a gift, even if they've never heard of Joan Osborne. I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't like it. It is one of my favorite CDs in my collection. I love it!!
