Description Styx are one of the most successful AOR bands of all time with worldwide album sales in the millions. On May 25, 2006 they took the stage in Cleveland for a new venture accompanied by the 115 piece Contemporary Youth Orchestra and a 60 member chorus. With a set list that combined Styx classics, new songs and cover versions this was a truly unique event. TRACKLISTING 1. Blue Collar Man 2. Lorelei 3. One With Everything 4. It Don't Make Sense (You Can't Make Peace) 5. Can't Find My Way Home 6. I Am The Walrus 7. Just Be 8. Everything All the Time 9. Crystal Ball 10. Miss America 11. Criminal Mind 12. Too Much Time On My Hands 13. Boat on the River 14. I Don't Need No Doctor 15. Medley: Put Me On / Mademoiselle / Heavy Metal Poisoning / Midnight Ride / Sing for the Day / Shooz / Queen of Spades / Great White Hope / Half Penny Two Penny / Borrowed Time / Rockin' the Paradise / Lights / Man in the Wilderness 16. Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man) 17. Renegade BONUS FEATURES * Two new Styx Christmas songs filmed at the same concert: 1. All I Want 2. Ring The Bells * Interview. * Photo gallery.
Amazon.com For Styx fans, the opportunity to see the band perform with a symphony orchestra is da bomb; for others, it may simply be da bombast. Either way, One With Everything is a spectacle. Of course, the Styx who ruled the AOR airwaves in their '70s-'80s heyday, followed by their ascension to Classic Rock status, has been through some changes in the last several years. In the absence of Dennis DeYoung (which means we are mercifully spared DeYoung-penned hits like "Come Sail Away" and the cloying "Babe"), singer-guitarists Tommy Shaw and James Young have moved up front. Yet the more things change, the more they stay the same, and Styx remains what it always was: a facile, journeyman band, capable of writing some good rock songs ("Blue Collar Man," "Too Much Time on My Hands," "Fooling Yourself"), with a sound that's distinctive but, in the long run, not especially interesting. Still, there's no denying the sheer joy and energy that permeates this May, 2006 concert, both onstage and in the audience. Much of that is due to the presence of the Contemporary Youth Orchestra of Cleveland, an enormous ensemble (115 players and 56 singers) comprised entirely of teenagers. Under the direction of Liza Grossman, these kids are having a blast, and their enthusiasm is infectious, as Shaw, Young, and the other Styx-ters (original bassist Chuck Panozzo sits in on a few tunes) are clearly giving it their all. In fact, it's almost too much; there's a certain shrillness to the group's screeching lead vocals and super-high harmonies that ends up being both exhausting and slightly discomfiting. Not that this will matter to the band's adherents, who should be delighted by a show that's well over two hours long and includes covers of Willie Dixon's "It Don't Make Sense (You Can't Make Peace)," the Beatles "I Am The Walrus," and Ashford and Simpson's "I Don't Need No Doctor" in addition to Styx's own material. Bonus features include a couple of new Christmas songs, interviews, and more. --Sam Graham

Excellent performance November 18, 2008 One with everything is an excellent blending of the original STYX sound with the Cleveland's Contemporary youth orchestra ,consisted by 171 very enthusiastic students. The result is fantastic , excellent work ,synchronisation with the band is perfect.Sound quality's one of the plus on this DVD - very good mixing and DTS sound , picture is great too ,good lighting ...what else can i say ...it took me there !! Another high quality work by STYX(and not only), i enjoyed every second of it !
Amazing August 8, 2008 This concert was amazing. The integration with The Contemporary Youth Orchestra of Cleveland was beyond great. When you watch the concert, you can not only get into the music, but watching the energy of the orchestra brings additional enjoyment. When I play this video, I can't help myself but to play the song "I am the Walrus" over and over again. This Beatle song along with the other Styx songs make this DVD a winner. Too Bad the BlueRay edition is not out yet. Buy This.

Good energy interaction with kids. They still need Dennis DeYoung to make Styx complete. This is a fun video.
