Just Horrible. May 5, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love the first two gods must be crazy movies, so I took this one on faith. The first two show you the beauty and the tranquility of simple living in Africa.
This movie I watched once, then dropped in the recycle pile. That was actually showing a lot of restraint, because I felt like setting it on fire. Don't buy this. Just - don't.
Watching the first two movies, you feel like you've been given a gift. Watching this makes you feel like something has been taken from you. By force.
Fewer laughs March 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Not as funny as the first one since the story lacked depth comedy or not. Yet still good for a few laughs.
The Best of the Later Movies October 25, 2006 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
You had to work to get here. This movie, with the g left off of Kong is hard to find.
This movie is part of the Gods Must Be Crazy series, and it is the best of the later movies. In this movie N!xau is wandering around Hong Kong. Basically he is wondering where he is and how to get home. It's big time culture shock.
This movie is sometimes called The Gods Must Be Crazy IV-2. There is another movie that also claims to be number IV. All of these movies and how they relate to each other is made much more clear in the Gods Must Be Crazy web site.
