0 STARS: You cannot be serious!!!!! August 22, 2006 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Obviously, the creators of "Ghoulies II" were not interested in making a horror/scary movie. Just take a look at that stupid big ghoulie-creature toward the end of the movie, and see what I mean...it looks so ridiculous, it's almost like something out of a spongebob cartoon. I mean what are these things, deformed gremlin rejects??? Besides that, this movie simply has no redeeming qualities to it. The acting is absolutely atrocious in this piece of trash, and I do not know what the director and screenwriters were smoking when they decided to make this garbage, but, suffice it to say, they did not succeed in making a horror movie. "Ghoulies II" is not even one of those movies that it is so bad that it makes you laugh...this movie just makes you want to cry because you spent an hour and a half of your life watching a piece of rubbish. There's really nothing else to say about this flick except that it sucks.
they back December 25, 2005 I have seen it bee for on tv. it was o.k the ending is good.
Wonderful Family Movie March 24, 2004 If your father hasn't accidentally taken you to a movie recently, I highly recommend he takes you to see Ghoulies II. Or, as I like to refer to it Ghoulies vs. Carnies. The movie stars no other than "that guy" and Oates (my father asked if it was Lionel Richie) as a foppish dandy. Throughout the movie, carnival goers are terrorized by a toilet dwelling ghoulie, what appears to be a flying caelacanth, a bukkake rat ghoulie, and a cat ghoulie with tourette's. At no point do the Rat and Cat Ghoulie fight, they've learned to coexist peacefully despite eachother's shortcomings. The effects are a wonderful display from the geniuses at Thunderbirds, and Rankin and Bass. Everyone go find your Boglins. I know you've got one somewhere.
TOILET MONSTERS HOSTAGE A CARNIVAL May 31, 2003 GHOULIES 2 is better than parts 1 and 4 it has the toilet monsters taking revenge on Larry and Ned's carnival, but spending time in a haunted house making the costumers laugh at what the monsters do,but at the end the action begins.Rated PG-13 or R.
Ghouliemania!!! August 3, 2002 Ghoulies,Ghoulies,Ghoulies! I love those little toilet goblins. This movie was fantastic! The best is hearing the crowd's reaction to the kid's description of the rat-bat ghoulie; "Man, I love that stuff!" "Ya, that's terrific!". Other precious moments arise in every scene where the rebelious teen frolics and head-bangs to his "tunes". A classic. A sheer treasure. Fun for the whole family. Rent to Own!
