Description Give preschoolers their best start with BEAR IN THE BIG BLUE HOUSE! This award-winning series provides your child with valuable tools for growth in key areas of music, social skill development, and cognitive learning through integrated programs combining music, movement, and exploration. Join Bear(TM) and friends for a day of discovery in three episodes that reinforce independence, teach basic bathroom skills, and give your child a sense of accomplishment. Going to the bathroom by yourself is a big part of growing up in "When You've Got To Go," and sometimes practice is the key to doing new things well in "If At First You Don't Succeed." Finally, nighttime is the right time to look back at all you've accomplished and "Call It A Day" in these stories of independence and success.

my daughter loved this one November 18, 2008 My daughter (when she was about two) loved this movie and wanted to watch it again and again. It's sweet and explains the potty process in a simple and non pushy way.
My Two Year Old Loves It!!!! October 4, 2008 I bought this my my two year old baby girl along with Elmo's potty time to help motivate her to use the potty. She absolutely loved this dvd the very first night. At first, she didn't not have much interest in the potty, but after only two weeks she has made big progress. She would only sit for about 45 seconds on the potty and she would never tell me she had to go. She lets me know she has to potty, but it is usually after she has gone in her pull up( it is still such a big step). The next step, she will tell me before she will have to go. Bear in the Big Blue House has made an outstanding first impression because i haven't heard about it until now. Also, we love the theme song!!!!
Two boys' review: Gently teaches bathroom skills July 27, 2008 Honestly, we bought this hoping it was the magic key that would unlock our household from a life of servitude to night pants.
Well, that didn't work.
The DVD is cute. Bear is kind. But nothing magical resulted from repeat viewings. In fact, our kids quickly grew tired of the DVD after the fifth or sixth viewing, so now it gathers dust and is soon to be a candidate for a garage sale table.
its ok but more like the tv show July 24, 2008 i just got this dvd for my daughter she is interested in using the potty and knows when she needs to go i used a video for my oldest and it helped but i no longer have the video so i thought this would be good she like bear. how ever its just like the show and doesn't really get to the potty point. its cute but doesn't really get the point across to her its just another dvd to watch.
Great Help May 2, 2008 This video was recommended to me by a couple of girlfriends and potty training for my first two children was a breeze. I've now started using it for my third child and so far so good. I really think it helps.
