Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
Includes CD. Over the course of five pulverizing studio records and countless tours with Slayer, Slipknot, Mudvayne, The Deftones as well as mainstage/side-stage stints on Ozzfest, Connecticut's Hatebreed has built a dedicated fanatical fan base the old fashioned way-- on the road. Touring behind their critically acclaimed last studio record Supremacy, Live Dominance captures the band at the peak of its powers and is the culmination of all the blood, sweat and tears the band has put in over the years. Shot in front of a crazed, sold-out crowd at Harpo's in Detroit, the arrival of the Live Dominance DVD is something the band's fans have been waiting for forever. Containing the full show and tons of extras, the DVD runs over two and half hours in length.

Good dvd for Hatebreed fans. The live concert was shot great, gives you a feel of how intense the Hatebreed shows are. Documentary of the band is good, not the best but informative. This dvd is a must for Hatebreed fans. 8/10

This video is strong from an upbeat beginning to a extremely brutal ending. Definitely my favorite live video I've ever watched. I would recommend it to anyone who listens to this band, it captures their essence perfectly.

This gets 5 stars easy. Excellent sound, camera work, performance, etc. Couldn't be better, and the energy flows strong throughout from both band and audience. Good bonus features. Among the best concert films I've seen.

After dropping from Roadrunner due to lack of promotion for Supremacy, Hatebreed signed a small deal with Koch Records for this dvd release, a covers album called To The Lions (out in October), and a live cd coming soon that was recorded and produced in Texas by Hellyeah/Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul. Live Dominance is the culmination of nearly 14 years of blood, sweat, and extremely hard touring. 22 songs from the band's catalog are presented, and they have to be because most of the band's songs are short and to the point (some running between around 2 and 3 minutes long, and some as short as just under 2 minutes). Setlist includes some favorites from Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire (Empty Promises, Before Dishonor, Last Breath, etc.), while it mostly focuses on some of the best material from Perseverance, The Rise of Brutality, and Supremacy. The atmosphere is very violent as is to be expected at a Hatebreed show. Despite it being indoors, it reminds me of when I saw them at Ozzfest last summer. Blood, bruises, circle pits everywhere. Not that I'm complaining. If a pit broke out near where I was standing, I just moved away from it. Extras include additional live footage, interviews, photos, tributes, and all of the band's music videos (their first video for Before Dishonor is noticeably absent). If you're a Hatebreed fan, and you're reading this, don't pass this up.
