Young dinosaur friends Little Foot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, and Petrie are content with their lives in the Great Valley, but things keep changing and sometimes the friends just feel like they don't quite fit in. As Petrie struggles to perfect his flying for the very important Day of the Flyers, he realizes how different he is from his brothers and sisters and, while he and his friends value his uniqueness, it's causing big problems in the family's flight formations. Meanwhile, Cera is struggling with the arrival of a new baby sister and the resulting lack of attention from her father and Tria. When an odd creature named Guido shows up in the valley, Petrie befriends him and learns an important lesson about how to maintain his individuality while still contributing to his family's collaborative flight. A courageous act by Guido saves Cera's sister from peril, helping Cera realize how much she really cares about her new sister, and sparking a personal revelation that gives Guido a much better sense of his own place in the world.  Very cute movie... March 8, 2008
I have two boys who absolutely love the Land Before Time movies. While I do agree with other reviews about the first one being the best, this one is also a favorite in our home. My kids and I searched five different stores for this movie and couldn't find it, so I decided to go online. I really appreciate the people who take the time to write reviews on here for products. I find them to be very helpful. I spent quite a while reading reviews for the other Land Before Time movies on here. I was impressed with the reviews for this one, and ended up purchasing (V) The Mysterious Island as well. We love them both!
Great Day of the Flyers March 2, 2008
I had looked everywhere for this movie, I could find them all but this one. My grandson loves the littlefoot movies and this was the only one we did not have. It came earlier than expected and in mint condition.

I'm tickled pink for purchasing this movie. The Land Before Time is a movie my sister and I remember growing up on. Now there's the chance for my son to enjoy the original and all the new Land Before Time movies as well. He absolutely loves them. I'll be purchasing more for him to start a collection.
