5 out of 5 stars Worth the buy, children will learn and enjoy....   November 12, 2008
We bought this video along with the others ones (shapes, colors, letters, and numbers), and our 2 year old loves them. He has learned everything that we wanted him to. These are a great tool for teaching young children. We are looking at buying the sight words next...We hope this helps.

5 out of 5 stars Great Way to Learn the Numbers!   October 28, 2008
I got this video for my 2 year old daughter. I cannot rave about this product enough. My daughter watched this video a few times and can now identify the numbers 0-10. She gets excited to see numbers everywhere we go and wants to tell me which number is which. It's so exciting to see her learn and enjoy it. We also got "Meet the Letters"... I would recommend that one too!

3 out of 5 stars Only okay...   May 14, 2008

I've gotta say, I'd give this one star except for the fact that my daughter actually sat through the whole thing and watched it. The video is SO annoying... I think there's gotta be better educational videos for teaching numbers out there. She also didn't ask to watch it again after it ended like she does so many of her other shows.

3 out of 5 stars numbers   April 5, 2008

This is ok my girls seemed to like it but I thought it was boring and didn't hold there attention for long. example there is an number one bouncing around the screan then they say one, one, one. This is said around ten times then there is a short, I'll call it skit, with the number one then it goes to two, two, two, two, all over agian.

5 out of 5 stars Learning Numbers as Easy as 1, 2, 3!   March 28, 2008

Meet the Numbers

My youngest son has special needs & mainly uses sign language as a form of communication. My son can learn all sorts of things from these videos that he was unable to learn in preshcool. With just days of "Meet the Numbers" he knew several numbers and with 2 weeks of "Meet the Letters" he was able to name many letters on the cover of Meet the Numbers. This is a big deal because just saying words clear enough for us to understand is hard yet he was able to say these things. I even consider somewhat of a speech therapy while he does the video because he talks along with them. With the simple & repetitive style it is very easy to pick up and they associate the characters with what they are leraning and are able to generatlize it into every day activities. I HIGHLY recomend this item not only for normal children but for those with special needs. We use our's in the car on the way to school. Better then just sitting there!
