Amazing Oasis at their peak! April 16, 2008 Oasis have been around for 14+ years now, but by far their best stuff was released between 1994 and 1996, the double-shot genius of "definitely maybe" and "morning glory", plus all the great b-sides in between. IMO, at that time comparisons with the Beatles were well-earned: No act since the Fab Four had released so many good songs in so short a period of time.
Thus, this DVD, recorded in 1996, captures the band at their absolute commercial and artistic peak. All the great songs from the first two records are here, and the Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound is perfect.
No rock and roll fan should be without this.
Excellent example... January 4, 2007 ...of why some considered Oasis the band of the 90's. Solid musicianship and excellent song selection make this live recording a must have for any true Oasis fan. I once owned the tape when it first came out and of course wore it out. I had to purchase another one and will probably wear it out as well, although I should probably buy the DVD version next time. At any rate, if you like Oasis, you MUST purchase this concert. Cheers!!!
Maybe I don't really want to know...... November 20, 2005 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This DVD is excellent! There's variety and the band really has a passion for the music. It's balanced just the way a concert DVD should be with a lot of music, and bits of commentary from the band. I wasn't really an Oasis fan until I bought this DVD. It is definitely worth the money.

A Must for Oasis Fans July 22, 2005 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I really enjoyed this video of Oasis from the glory days of (What's the Story) Morning Glory. The band sounds great, and this video includes a solid selection of their best songs from Morning Glory and The Masterplan. I get a big kick out of watching Liam, the anti-performer, just stand and sing into the mike, or saunter around the stage. And the jam at the end of "I Am The Walrus" is incredible, complete with fake Beatles. After seeing this video, it's amazing to me that Oasis never released a live album.
Great show. May 16, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
