Description Give preschoolers their best start with BEAR IN THE BIG BLUE HOUSE! This award-winning series provides your child with valuable tools for growth in key areas of music, social skill development, and cognitive learning through integrated programs combining music, movement, and exploration. Step outside the Big Blue House and see all there is to see in Bear's own Woodland Valley, while learning about community, cooperation, and understanding others! Explore everything from the Mouse School to the Movie Theater in this musically minded town. When a tree falls on the library, Bear and his buddies pull together to help, including new friends Jeremiah Tortoise(TM) and Jack The Firedog(TM), as everybody learns the value of volunteering and the fun of being part of a real community!

Bear Rocks!!!! March 11, 2007 My son is 2 1/2 and He loves Bear , He has almost all of his videos, I just wish that Bear would make some new ones. This video is good though.
Bear Rocks March 7, 2007 This one has the whole neighboorhood unlike most the others. My only complaint is there should be more on the dvd. Love the music, the characters, and everything about it. Bear does it again teaching children while entertaining at the same time. This is a good way to keep you child busy while they learn. Bear teaches values and helpful information such as seasons, shapes, colors, potty training, brushing teeth, bathing, sharing, friendship, and alot more.
Great story! May 11, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful story. I watch Bear in the Big Blue House with my son, who's 18 months. He loves Bear, especially when he smells the camera/t.v. screen - it's a riot! This is a great story about a community coming together after a tree falls on the Woodland Valley Library. After being initially saddened by the loss of the library, everyone (Tutter, Ojo, Pip & Pop) rally together to collect books and rebuild their library. It's a great story of community and togetherness, and teaches kids that with a little hard work you can make anything happen. I plan on getting more "Bear" videos.
Same ole Bear -slite difference April 23, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Our two year old and our family are big Bear fans. We first discovered Bear when "potty time", was given to our daughter last christmas. We've been collecting them ever since. The are somewhat hard to find in stores. This dvd only has one, two part episode in which the community of woodland vally rebuild after a storm. The intro is different; and there are a few new characters but I would still recommend it highly
