Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Four in five Americans say the healthcare system needs fundamental change. Can the U.S. learn anything from the rest of the world about how to run a healthcare system, or are these nations so culturally different that their solutions would not be acceptable? FRONTLINE correspondent T.R. Reid examines the healthcare systems of other advanced capitalist democracies to see what ideas might help the U.S. reform its broken healthcare system.

Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars This is just the 2nd half of M. Moore's "Sicko"!   July 20, 2008

This work looks at industrial nations that have universal health care. Michael Moore already did that in the second half of "Sicko." If you already know that other rich countries take health care as a right, then you will hear nothing new here.
The title infuriates me. This does not talk about being sick around the world. What if you are sick in Brazil, South Africa, or India? The majority of countries are poor and couldn't dream of having the excellent health care systems described here. If you remember correctly, Moore spoke about health care in Cuba, a non-rich country. This documentary is too myopic for that.
Finally, the narrator will just grate on your last nerves. He has a whiny, irritating voice like that one actor in "The Princess Bride." Yes, it is impressive that he speaks Japanese. Still, a whole bunch of viewers will press their stop buttons because they can't deal with his obnoxious voice.
