Description
As seen on CNN, Good Morning America, The Learning Channel & hundreds of new programs! Includes all 5 DVDs in the Your Baby Can Read early language development system. Also includes double-sided, interactive "Learn to Read" word cards, one wipe-clean word card, and one erasable, non-toxic pen.

This revolutionary early-reading program encourages infants and toddlers to NATURALLY learn the written word AT THE SAME TIME as they learn the spoken word. Studies indicate that early readers are more confident, have higher self-esteem, and generally do better in school and in life!

*Teaches babies, toddlers and preschoolers written language during the window of opportunity for learning language.

*Promotes the learning of "natural phonics".

* Also includes a complete overview of the program, including an orientation and a parents' "How To" by Dr. Titzer himself, testimonials, and remarkable footage of babies reading.

This language development system introduces children to the wonderful world of words using Dr. Robert Titzer's fun, multi-sensory reading approach. Babies and toddlers do not just watch this DVD. They interact with it!

1 out of 5 stars Who cares if your baby can read?   April 26, 2008

This is an expensive set that is really not worth it. The instructions are to watch it twice a day, every day, which is time consuming. The videos are boring. My son is a very active child and had no interest in this whatsoever. I had heard (from an Usborne Book Rep) that this system works as everytime it shows the word "hi" in the beginning and then the girl says "hi", her daughter said it before the girl. Well, kids are good at remembering - it doesn't mean she can read.
I'd spend your time and money looking through books or another method to teach your child to read - a baby doesn't need to read!

5 out of 5 stars Outstanding, Taught our Child to Read & Speak!!!   February 10, 2008

This set is incredible! Our daughter watched these dvds daily over several months. She loved the series, especially as there are intermittant children's songs throughout! Not only did this set help teach her to read at age 2, but seemed to promote her verbal skills. This was most welcomed, as she was somewhat speech delayed. We've since had another daughter and son. Our other daughter has also been an early reader, and our baby boy has enjoyed hours of watching! I very highly recommend this set! A+++

5 out of 5 stars Amazing results!   July 15, 2007

My son has been watching this series of DVD's since he was 4 months old. He is now 18 months old and can read over 70 words. He knows all his ABC's and can count to 30. I KNOW that it is because of these DVD's that he is so far advanced for his age. He often reads words that we didn't even know that he knew. These DVD's teach the pattern of reading and learning. I know that all children would benefit greatly from watching these DVD's. I recommend these DVD's to all parents! They are worth every penny and then some.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent!   June 29, 2007

These DVD's are fantastic! My daughter is 20 months old and has been watching them since she was 10 months old. Within a week, she was doing the instructional things on the DVD like "arms up" and started repeating words shortly thereafter. By the time she was 14 months she had a vocabulary of 25 words and now at 20 months she has over 100 words in her vocabulary and can speak in sentences!! Not only is her vocabulary amazing, but she can also READ!!! We were serious about this program so we followed the parental instructions...it is a MUST! The DVD's work with your help! Also, we never watch TV around our daughter or let her watch TV. Not only is it Dr. Titzer's recommendation about TV watching, but that of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Our daughter says new words everyday! She repeats words we say, probably because she learned to repeat the words from watching Your Baby Can Read! I can't say enough about these DVD's. When we are around other people, they are amazed at how well she talks and can't believe she is only 20 months old!!

5 out of 5 stars Confidently recommended for parents wanting to insure that their children have all the advantages   March 6, 2007

Carefully designed by Robert Titzer (an acclaimed expert in infancy research and an educator for more than 15 years), "Your Baby Can Read!" is a complete system of do-it-yourself activities that parents can easily and naturally use to encourage their infants and toddlers to understand the written word just as they are also learning to use spoken words. This simply outstanding and thoroughly 'user friendly' boxed DVD set system utilizes songs, poems, animals, and children in a multi-sensory, interactive approach that is as effective as it is fun for both children and their parents. Included is a complete overview of the program, an orientation to help parents get started with their children, and a parent's 'how to'. The sliding word and picture cards are specifically designed to be a companion set for the "Your Baby Can Read!" DVDs. The included blank, erasable Learn to Read word card provides parents with the means to teach their children an unlimited amount of new words. "Your Baby Can Read!" is confidently recommended for parents wanting to insure that their children have all the advantages when it comes to cognitive development and learning skills.
