Here's Your Sign August 26, 2008 Great idea! Our little girl does not speak yet but communicates with the basic signs on this DVD. Just the right length - repeated playings can drive you nuts, but the benefits (especially at mealtime) outweigh a few frazzled nerves. I've recommended this DVD to several friends with toddlers.
She loves it August 24, 2008 I don't know if this is teaching Jamison very much about sign language... but she LOVES this DVD. She gets so excited whenever I put it on and her reaction to it is so much stronger than anything else she sees on TV. She loves the little blue guy and she goes "woo woo" whenever she sees him and squeals and smiles. I think she thinks he's a dog but that's ok. This is the video that I take with me whenever I have to have her with a babysitter, because if she is upset and crying, I have them put it on and it calms her down and she's Happy Baby again.
perfect for us August 15, 2008 This is perfect for those who are trying to learn the basics to communicate with thier little ones who cannot talk yet. My 4 year old & I love watching it & he is picking up on the signs so fast. We are learning them to communicate with our two month old as she grows.
My son doesn't like it August 7, 2008 I thought this would be a neat addition to my Baby Einstein Collection. But my son won't watch it. I've tried several times, and each time he doesn't even last 1 minute. He prefers the more musical dvd's.
Not up to the standards of other baby signs DVDs July 29, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My son loved the My Baby Can Talk sign language DVDs and he loves Baby Einstein, so I thought this would be perfect for him. I was so, so wrong. The DVD is not done in a manner that promotes learning. The words are combined too much, instead of focusing on one word at a time. I would not bother with this DVD if you really want your baby to learn sign language. We love baby sign and can highly recommend the My Baby Can Talk series instead of this DVD.
