Amazon.com The animated pooch detective returns in Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, which packs a wealth of ghostly villains from the Saturday morning cartoon into one movie. When Mystery Inc. opens a museum exhibit of costumes of their old foes, a new masked foe appears and steals everything--and before you know it, all the costumes come to life, chasing Fred (Freddie Prinze Jr., Head Over Heels), Daphne (Sarah Michelle Gellar, TV's Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Velma (Linda Cardellini, Freaks and Geeks), Shaggy (Matthew Lillard, SLC Punk), and the computer-animated Scooby Doo all over Coolsville. It's no better or worse than the first Scooby Doo movie. Watching live-action scenes that you've previously seen in two dimensions is vaguely uncanny; it's like deja vu turned inside out. Also featuring the weirdly unsynchronized lips of Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), Seth Green (Austin Powers), and Peter Boyle (Young Frankenstein). --Bret Fetzer

love scooby doo October 28, 2008 I thought this was a great and fun movie and its one of those movies where u can watch it again and again.
excellent comic book comes to life October 4, 2008 It is an excellent creation of a live version of the Scooby Doo cartoon show. It is quite well done.
Great movie! August 1, 2008 The real people scooby movies are incredible!I only gave this movie 4 stars because of 4 things. 1.I'ts not that much like the first film. 2.Daphne and fred don't look like they do in the cartoon. 3.Lina Carellini's performence as Velma isn't as good as it is in the first film. 4. I think Scooby didn't look as good as he did in the first one.In this film they made him look too lit up.For example, when shaggy and scooby are near the Faux Ghost,it's dark and scooby stands out and at that time he shouldn't.In the first film, when scooby's looking for "rambugers" his looks darkens because it's dark out. Still, this is my second favorite flick. My first favorite is the first live action film.I gave that one 5 stars. But this film isn't for kids under 6.
