Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
Former cell phone salesman and now Britians Got Talent winner Paul Potts has spent most of his life feeling insignificant and bullied, but says that his voice was always his one true friend, a voice that Simon Cowell calls simply magical.

Amazon.com
Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts has spent most of his life feeling 'insignificant'. Bullied at school for being 'different', he realized growing up that he had one true friend and that was his voice. Singing was his escape. He was able to lose himself in his own little world - the vicious words of his tormentors replaced by hauntingly beautiful lyrics and melodies that lifted his heart and spirit. It was a love, a passion, a lifeline that would follow Paul into adulthood and help him through many more periods of adversity.

Though it's fair to say that when Paul strolled awkwardly - almost apologetically - onto the Cardiff stage for his first Britain?s Got Talent audition a week before that final, in his now infamous 35 Tesco suit, and announced to Simon and fellow judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan that he was going to sing opera, they never thought for one minute they were looking at their winner. Until he opened his mouth and started to sing.

Went platinum in 14 countries in Europe and Asia. Sold over 25 miliom albums. I'm a fan.

2 out of 5 stars Paul Potts CD   November 2, 2008

He obviously has a delightful voice, but he's also obviously an amateur. Even with orchestration so close to Il Divo's (and that was a cheap shortcut in my estimation) it wasn't enough to hide the fact he should spend a good solid year with a voice coach before he decides he's professional. It's an enjoyable CD but I wasn't impressed enough to play it very often.

Personally I can't stand opera because I don't understand the words. With Paul Potts the words don't matter. His voice grabs you and floats you right through the song and leaves you begging for more. Thoroughly recommend for any art enthusiast..

I don't know what it is, but Paul Potts makes you listen to him. Maybe it's his vibrato, but he makes you want to listen.

There are not enough adjectives to give Paul Potts
the credit he deserves. Makes my heart happy and my eyes leak.
