Amazon.com Somewhere into the so-so "Itsy Bitsy Spider" segment, the sinking feeling that Kids' Favorite Songs 2 is strictly sequel material sets in. This is a march down Sesame Street on a slow day, when the loopy monster misunderstandings and goofball gags miss a rare beat or two. Still, making merry is what the Sesame crew does best, and they succeed here, if on a less brilliant level than we've come to expect. All the usual favorites, like "If You're Happy and You Know It" and "The Ants Go Marching," get the gang and their real-life kid friends grooving, and a running joke involving a renegade meatball keeps kids 18 months to 5 tuned in to the end. Elmo hosts. --Tammy La Gorce

Great DVD for Kids and family December 2, 2008 There was one scene in this dvd when puppet Rosita sung a lullabye to a little child. The tune seems pretty sad to my little one that she usually cry everytime she watches this part.
I usually rent at blockbuster online now I went ahead and buy her own copy.
not very good August 29, 2008 I should have listened to the reviews on here, but I thought I would give it a chance since my daughter loves a lot of the songs. It would have been fine if it were just the muppets singing, but having the kids singing in the video is terrible. My daughter didn't like it and I can't blame her!
cute DVD April 7, 2008 I purchased this after my 2 yr old son kept begging to watch it after we returned it to the library. It is not all songs--there are parts with the children being interviewed, but my kids love those parts, too.
My son loves this DVD! January 24, 2008 My 21-month old loves this DVD. He loves Elmo in general & I think he likes seeing other kids singing songs. They could've made it a tad longer, in my opinion. I taught him to march around when "The Ants go Marching 1 by 1" song comes on & he thinks that's really fun. He only gets bored during the lullaby so we often skip over that one. I would recommend it though. It's good clean fun and teaches them songs.
Unimpressed! January 15, 2008 We have the first video Kids Favorite Songs, which my son just adores. I was so thrilled to find out that there was a second edition, and bought it for Christmas. It is terrible. He could care less about this video. It is not entertaining at all since they use mostly kids that can't sing, and hardly any puppets like the first one. Very dissapointed and a waste of money. Do not recommend!
