In the newly-popular 60s genre minted to perfection by bad Winehouse grrls, Duffy stands out from the rest of the pack with her brassy tones in the megahit 'Mercy'.
Her smoke-tinged vocals in 'Warwick Avenue' and'Serious' also recall the finer moments of Lulu and Dusty Springfield... all good fun and nostalgia...

Excellent quality CD. Duffy rocks on this CD and I have enjoyed listening many times since I received it. It did take a long time to receive the CD and I became impatient but now its like glue and will not leave my hands! Will be watching for more releases from this talented artist. Thanx AMAZON!

I bought it for the song Mercy, after listening to it, all the songs on the CD are good. Well worth the purchase.

Although many of you are already familiar with some of Duffy's songs (such as the brilliant Warwick Avenue and the already classic Mercy), listening to the record in full is a phenomenal musical experience. her distinguished bitter-sweet voice touches your soul in every song of this album, and after many hours of listening you rediscover some really fantastic yet unfamiliar (for now) songs such as Rockferry and Hanging On Too Long. highly recommended!
