Hi5 DVD'S (Great!) October 29, 2007 I bought vol 1-3 in the Hi5 DVD's my child is 22 months old and she loves Hi5 and all their sing along song and games.
You should just she her dancing around the house when these DVD's are playing.
Just great.
Excellent! September 5, 2007 My children and I became Hi 5 fans about 5 years ago. Back then I looked for DVDs and couldn't find them. I now have a 2 year old that watched nothing on TV-until now. I finally can get 45 minutes to do something, like clean, while she is awake. I don't like my kids watching TV all day, but I'm not going to pretend I don't need a break during awake hours. One feature I really love about this is that you don't have to press play when it comes on. No waiting for previews and not being able to fast forward to the menu. Another great feature is that it automatically repeats itself without any children screaming "ITs OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!". I loved this movie so much that I bought 2 more DVDS. If you are familiar with the show, you will love these movies.
Hi-5: Making Music August 31, 2007 I searched for weeks for the video and finally found it here. My son absolutely loves it. He is a big Hi-5 fan and it was nice to see some different episodes. I wish there were a few more.
Disappointing by comparison August 1, 2007 "Making music" is the only new addition to this DVD and only contained one episode. I expected more new material, especially considering that it takes them so long to produce new episodes! What *was* here was good, but we wanted more! Regardless, Hi-5 is a great show with catchy tunes and appealing characters.
Some funny stuff inside... July 7, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
OK. It has an orange box (not a red box like it should look like) It has the same structure as the previous 2 volumes.
But something is missing: there are no recent videos of the group between scenes (the other 2 volumes have them). So you can see only kids. The great thing is the Read Along option. There is also the sing-along and karaoke features for the 3 theme songs.
One thing I don't get it: the order of the videos. It has "Robot Number One" song but it's from a different year than the other videos. It has a video from TEAM episodes but the TEAM's song is on volume 2... Well, I suppose that i don't have to care since this video is for kids. And my 3yo son loves it but not so much as he loves the "blue hi-5" (as he calls the volume 2)
Also there are 2 short videos from the new members: Jasmeen and Sydney. Both of them look like rehearsal videos but they are OK. Sydney reminds me the classic cheerleader boy's scene with Ferrel on SNL.
I hope it works fine when they start filming the new Hi-5 episodes with them (without Shaun and Karla)
